Hey all,
Here’s a video I made recently of me doing a reading of some of A Book of Searing Originality. It’s about an hour or so, and I had a lot of fun doing it! Maybe I’ll record more of it some other time, but that would require a lot of time and a quiet enough living space, both of which I am lacking in unfortunately. I also personally think that reading the book is actually way more funny than listening to it — apologies to those of you who are visually impaired and would prefer to listen to it this way, but that’s just how it is for now. I’m not just saying that because I want people to buy the book or whatever, it’s just true. I’ve always felt that audiobooks are for people who don’t really give a shit about what they’re listening to, and it’s more of a background entertaining thing (which is not how I think of my work obviously).
Anyway, that’s it. Thank you to the few of you supporting my work or checking it out, I appreciate it! Hope you’re all doing well in these hellish times we’re living in. Aside from being trapped living with my parents like I always have been (instead of with my 6’2” Dutch wife in Holland), I’m pretty much doing great.
