MY NEW BOOK IS OUT

AVAILABLE HERE.

These are dark times, and this obviously isn’t at the top of the list of things that matter in the world. There’s a virus out there still raging and shitting inside of people’s lungs, the economy is collapsing into itself, the world hasn’t seen anything like this in a century, police were caught being police again, and people are protesting. Life is meaningless, and this doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things…..

…….Nevertheless, my new book is now out. Again, I have to reiterate here: art should not be life, it’s the enhancement of a life. It should be a privilege to enjoy when things that need to be taken care of have been taken care of. There are much greater things to be dealt with in the world right now. That being said: it is also absolutely necessary for people to take some time for themselves.

That all brings me to the book. It’s important for me to note this is not something I only started working on because of quarantine. They’re a bunch of ideas I laboured over for quite awhile. There’s probably only one story in there I wrote during quarantine: when I tried to write anything pertaining to epidemics, etc, it mostly turned out to be forced horseshit and I cut it from the book.

I think giving summaries of my work will cheapen the experience of reading, but here are a couple:

* Someone grasps with the loss of their mother.

* A girl gets bullied at school.

* A couple goes through an epic break-up.

* Two sisters have a falling out.

* A group of comedians hang out and discuss life at a shawarma place.

* Rich people are awful.

Some of the stories are funny, some are dark as hell, and others are very vulgar. As a result, I’d probably never be able to be published by a traditional publisher. I mean, how the hell are you supposed to market a book that goes all over the place like that? So of course: I did everything myself, like usual. It’s available in both ebook and paperback form (priced at $5 and $10 respectively). I am not a corporation here, just an unknown outsider artist.

Big thank you to those of you supporting my work. My life is going nowhere, and I am part of a lost generation of people that will most likely never get married, never become homeowners, and never have any of our dreams come true. One of the dreams I had before the world started ending was being a published author, so I appreciate your support. If you’re into weirdo outsider art, this is for you.

Now I’m off to work on my 3rd novel nobody will read.

Stay safe, stay sane, and donate to charity.
